" I've been on both sides of the vehicle repair transaction- as a provider and as a customer. When I was getting a noise from my water pump in my 07 Scion, I knew I was in over my head and had a repair on my hands that I could not do on my own... so I set about finding a mechanic near my home, who had plenty of people vouching for him or her. Emick came out ahead of the pack, and I'm so glad I brought my noisy water pump to them. Excellent service, up-front cost expectations, and a refreshing lack of "little ladying" (that's what us girls call it when we get the condescending runaround from mechanics and other guy-type professionals). My invoice also had a nice little list of some things to keep an eye on in the future. Though I'm a very occasional driver (I put around 5k miles on the clock each year) and have a very reliable car, Emick's has scored a loyal customer, and I'll definitely be back when and if the need arises."

" Fantastic service at reasonable prices. I took my boyfriend's 2001 Toyota Tacoma here for everything from a timing belt change to replacing a door handle to an oil change. I always had great service. When replacing the door handle, the owner told me he could order the official Toyota part, or I could order a knock-off part for a 1/3 of the price and he could put it on. He gave me the part number so I would be sure to order the right part. The door handle works great. Work was always done on-time and on-quote. And, when I had to drop off the truck for the day but it was raining, he offered to give me a ride home (I was on Albion St, so just outside of their test-driving area). I was sad when we moved away from the area - if I still lived in Colorado, I would definitely make the trek here for the excellent service. When we were ready to move, the owner looked over the truck and got it ready for the drive to the east coast. The owner was also always friendly and gave fantastic hiking recommendations!"

" Finding an honest mechanic is about as painful as a root canal. Often a car owner will be burnt by dishonest mechanics before finding someone they trust. I moved into the neighborhood and needed a new mechanic, so I looked up Yelp for suggestions. I noticed that Emick's had five stars from all five reviews, so I figured they looked promising. I made an appointment last week and dropped off the car on Monday morning. They were prompt, courteous, quick, and affordable. I was able to pick up my car in the early afternoon, and I was pleased with their work. I will surely come back, if for no other reason than the cool old cars they had in their lot."

 "Dave and his staff are fantastic mechanics. I drove a jalopy pickup for many years, and they kept it running for me at a very reasonable price. I especially like that they are straightforward in their assessments, willing to triage major repairs, prepared to prioritize repairs, and always reasonably priced. If you're looking for a some glad-handing and free donuts, don't go here. If you want quality work completed by skilled professionals, Emick's is your place." 

"No BS Car Repair. David and Jess are fantastic at assessing exactly what's wrong with our cars. They always tell us what's wrong, tell us an approximate price, and ask what we'd like to do. No pressure, just a simple diagnostic, recommendation, and price. I've been burned so many times elsewhere. I was fortunate enough to be recommended to these folks by a friend, probably 6 or 7 years ago now. I won't take my cars anywhere else. You've got a client for life. I send all my friends here too. Highly recommend!"
